Dear Sir or Madam,
I recently discovered your Afghanistan Election Data site - which I think is fantastic!
I've created an entry for the data on CKAN, our open source registry of open data:
http://ckan.net/package/afghanistan-election-data
I am writing to clarify whether or not the data on the site is open [1]?
I wasn't able to find an explicit statement that the data was open such as a license or legal tool [2] so I'm writing to find out what the situation is. Its really nice to see you using Open Street Map data, and it would be great if you'd consider putting your own data under an open license, such as one of the Open Data Commons licenses:
http://www.opendatacommons.org/
Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to receiving your response.
Regards,
Jonathan Gray
